Digital Content Creator Pathways helps young adults build confidence and real-world skills in digital media, design, and technology. The focus is not on “one-size-fits-all job training,” but on discovering each person’s interests and translating them into meaningful, practical skills.
Core Areas of Learning
Video & Content Creation
- Recording, importing, and editing video
- Creating Clips, Using Templates, and simple effects
- Exporting and safely sharing finished videos
Digital Art & Design
- Creating graphics in Canva or similar tools
- Stickers, simple posters, social media images
- Basic visual branding concepts (color, layout, readability)
Photography & Media Basics
- Using a smartphone or DSLR camera
- Photo Assistant Basics, lighting, and simple editing
- Building a “portfolio” of images for a show
Studio & Production Skills
- Basics of microphones, lighting, and camera setup
- Being on camera vs. behind the camera
- Working as part of a creative “crew”
Outcomes & Skills
- Increased comfort with technology and media tools
- Improved communication and planning (following steps, finishing projects)
